The Great War, Italy recalls 100 years of the entry into the conflict

On 24 May 1915, Italy was officially a part of the First World War, after the declaration of war on Austria-Hungary, dated 23 May 1915, the strong conclusion of an alliance with the Triple Entente.
It’s been exactly one hundred years by what is in effect the entry into our country in the War of the conflict which in four years caused the death of almost 26 million people across Europe, including at least seven millions of civilians, and today, to commemorate that historic day for Italy are scheduled ceremonies and commemorations throughout the country, starting from Rome.
