According to a research carried out by the University of Milan, the Italian glaciers (especially the Lombard ones) in the period from 1979 to 2005 have withdrawn considerably, ranging from 117 square kilometers to 92 square kilometers, with a particular reduction since 2000 onwards . To do and spend it is the smaller glaciers, which in addition to having to fight with global warming, sometimes have to protect themselves from the man.
